BRATTLEBORO - Forty members of the Kurn Hattin Choir from Westminster will perform at the 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday Sept. 23 at Centre Congregational Church in downtown Brattleboro.

The children are well known for their inspiring performances and travel widely, performing over 30 concerts annually. Their director, Lisa Bianconi, will lead them in singing gospel pieces, as well as folks ballads and hymns.

Established in 1894, Kurn Hattin is a charitable home and school for children, ages 6 to 15, who have been affected by social or economic hardship or disruption in family life.

The Rev. Carra McFadden will lead worship and her sermon title is "Intentional Faith Development," based on the text Acts 2:37-42. This is part of the sermon series "Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations." Fellowship hour follows in the parlor and all are welcome.

Kidz Club meets from 10 - 11:30 a.m. under the direction of Michael Mario, Director of Christian Education. The group enjoys music, the arts, drama, games and inter-active learning.

The Fall Jumble Sale will wind up on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Memorial Hall.

Centre Church is located at 193 Main St., Brattleboro, and is a congregation of the United Church of Christ.
