BRATTLEBORO - Worship this Sunday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. will be based on scripture from James 3:13-4:3, 7-8a read by Jane Clarke. Pastor Cheryl Meachen’s sermon, entitled "Willing to Yield" will explore human and divine wisdom. We may be able to control our actions, even our words, but sometimes our thoughts are evil. This passage from James contains clues about how to improve our thoughts and tap into "wisdom from above" by being willing to yield and draw near to God.
