BRATTLEBORO -- Worship at First United Methodist Church on Sunday, Sept. 30, at 10 a.m. will be based on scripture from James 5:13-20 read by Betty Stacy. Pastor Cheryl Meachen’s sermon, "I’ll Pray for You and You Pray for Me," will explore this scripture from James that says "the prayer of faith will save the sick." The difference between cure and healing and the role that confessing one’s sins and being truly vulnerable to one another plays in healing will be considered.
