BRATTLEBORO -- People are invited to bring their animals to the third annual Blessing of the Animals Outdoor Service at Trinity Lutheran Church at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6.

During the service each pet will receive a certificate of participation and a hands-on-individual blessing for "Good Health, Long Life, and a Happy Home."

Animals of all species, shapes and sizes are welcome. Pet caretakers are encouraged to bring their animals in carriers or on leashes.

The service will be held in the chapel behind Trinity Lutheran Church, 161 Western Ave., Brattleboro. For information, call the church office at 802-254-4220.
