BRATTLEBORO -- Worship on Sunday at First Baptist Church, 190 Main St., begins at 10 a.m. The call to worship, "Just A Closer Walk with Thee," will be sung by Lura Jane Bacon, accompanied by Luella Frechette on the historic Estey organ. Other special music will be "Ten Thousand Years" sung by Myra and Krystal.
The gospel message will be brought by Pastor Suzanne Andrews. Children of all ages attend worship through the children’s story before recessing for Sunday school. If transportation is needed, call the church office at 802-254-9566.
A Harvest Supper is planned tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church. On the menu will be ham and scalloped potatoes, roasted vegetables, salads, and desserts. A donation of $9 per person is asked, with children 5 to 10, $5. Children under 5 are free.
