NEWFANE -- The First Congregational Church of Newfane will meet for worship on Sunday, Oct. 28, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Robert Hamm’s sermon will be "All the Difference," with scripture from the book of Mark, chapter 10, verses 46-52.
Congregational hymns are "O God Our Help in Ages Past," "God of Our Life" and "A Mighty Fortress is Our God." The choir will sing "On Eagles Wings" accompanied by organist Martha LaMoria who will also play the prelude "His Eye Is On the Sparrow" and postlude "Solemn March." Following the worship service, there will be a forum, "Let’s Talk About Worship," and all are encouraged to attend. Next Sunday, communion will be celebrated at the morning service.
