WEST BRATTLEBORO -- All Souls Church Unitarian Universalist invites all to worship on Sunday, March 10, at 10 a.m. The theme will be "Integrity: About Whole Selves and Broken Pots."
All Souls’ friend Antonia Andreoli, who chairs the Worship Committee at the Walpole Unitarian Church, will be the guest speaker. She will reflect on a quote from Thomas Paine, "It is necessary to the happiness of man that he be mentally faithful to himself. Infidelity does not consist in believing, or in disbelieving; it consists in professing to believe what he does not believe."
The All Souls Choir, under the direction of Ede Thomas, will sing "Cantate Domino" by Natalie Sleeth.
Gathering to socialize and connect with each other after the service is an important part of the All Souls Church life. On Sunday, children and youth will have the honor of hosting this event. Children will discuss the role of coffee hour in the church’s life, how to be a good host and how important this act of service is. They will also be selling organic, fairly traded cocoa to benefit the building fund and tea made with their own maple sap. Nursery care will be provided.
All Souls Church is a Welcoming Congregation and a Green Sanctuary located at 29 South St. across the road from the West Brattleboro Fire Station and village green.
