WEST BRATTLEBORO -- All Souls Church Unitarian Universalist invites all to worship on Sunday, May 26, at 10 a.m. "Remembrance" will be the theme for the service.
What do we choose to remember on Memorial Day? Worship Coordinator Christina Gibbons invites members of the congregation to share memories of service to our country. They may introduce their own memories or those of family or friends that had an impact on them. The choir will sing several anthems as a finale to the choir season for the year.
The children will hear about Unitarian Universalist minister Don Robinson, who partnered with community leaders in Washington, D.C.’s inner city to create an afterschool program that responds to the needs of children and youth. The group will practice intent listening with a counting exercise and by listening to a partner talk about a pet peeve. They will make "I’m All Ears" hats as a reminder to use "air power," to listen fully and deeply. This class will mark the end of the church school year. All are welcome and nursery care is always provided.
