Join us as Television critics from around the country discuss the nominations for the 65th annual Emmy Awards, which were announced on Thursday morning.
Taking the lead for nominations were television thriller "American Horror Story: Asylum" and medieval fantasy "Game of Thrones." Online streaming service Netflix also won its first Emmy nods for political drama "House of Cards" starring Kevin Spacey and the return of comedy "Arrested Development."
"House of Cards" garnered nine nominations including best drama, leading actor for Spacey and leading actress for co-star Robin Wright.
In the comedy category, "30 Rock" anchored the most nominations, including best comedy for the long-running series' final season. "Modern Family" also scored 12 nods.
Neil Patrick Harris, star of CBS' "How I Met Your Mother" will be hosting the 2013 Emmys.
