BRATTLEBORO -- The Lesters of St. Louis, Mo., often called "St. Louis’ First Family of Gospel Music," have been sharing the word through song for four generations. The group will appear in concert at Green Mountain Chapel at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23.
Their signature sound is a blend of inspired arrangements and vocal artistry, led by longtime performer Brian Lester. He serves as emcee and manager and has been singing with the family since he was 4.
As a fourth generation performer, Jonathan Lester brings a real freshness to the group. Like his father, Brian, he was "born to sing," performing at a very young age.
Newest addition to The Lesters is vocalist Justin Wells, an extremely talented young man with an extraordinary voice and an accomplished musician.
The Lesters take pride in their family heritage, but consider God’s greater family as the real reason for their continued work. The Lesters are a ministry dedicated to leading people to Jesus by sharing the joy of Christ through music and personal testimony.

The concert is free. A love offering will be received.
Green Mountain Chapel is located at 480 Western Ave. near the Creamery Bridge in Brattleboro.
