CHESTERFIELD, N.H. -- This Sunday, Aug. 25, Asbury Church of Chesterfield invites the public to attend services at 10 a.m. as the story of Jesus healing a woman on the Sabbath is the topic from the Gospel of Luke. As soon as the woman was made whole, Jesus was held in contempt by the religious authorities and leaders of his day.
In "Spiritual, but Not Religious," discussion will tell how this story speaks to people today, especially with so many of their neighbors identifying as spiritual, but not religious. The message begins the discussion on how one can and should be more than rules and regulations, but cannot lose the gift of one’s religion along the way.
