CHESTERFIELD, N.H. -- The people at Asbury Church of Chesterfield pride themselves on not being your everyday church. With each passing Sunday, there is always an eclectic collection of stories and illustrations to accompany their lessons and sermon messages. This week is no different.
This Sunday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m., Asbury Church will turn not only to scripture, but to classical music, rabbits, complex mathematics, and even the Mona Lisa, as they enter into discussion and celebration of one of the promises inherent in the Christian faith, that despite the chaos, God is there.
Asbury Church is committed to not only having that holy conversation about what it means to be authentic, relevant, and missional followers of Jesus, but how we can support each other as we move through our individual faith journeys. The church is committed to culture of discernment through Scripture, Reason, Tradition and Experience and welcome all who are interested in visiting.
