CHESTERFIELD, N.H. -- A famous preacher once said the key to making any service transformative is to remind the world that every day can be magic, and each of us can be skilled magicians. In the everyday struggles of our life, in the regular coming and going, the miracle and wonder of the divine can be experienced, and along with it, lives and communities transformed. Although Asbury does not promise magic or secret tricks, we do promise a journey toward recognizing the holy, the special, and the divine in the mundane and every day.

This Sunday, as the start of the Advent season is welcomed, the spirit of laughter, humility, and reflection will be utilized and together remember how things as common as a football game, the need for control, or holiday fears can reveal one of the truest promises of the Christmas Season: We are a people of hope.

The entire community is welcome to worship on Sundays at 10 a.m. For more information, visit www.chesterfieldumc.org.
