BRATTLEBORO -- The First Sunday after Christmas will be a combination of hymn singing alternating with brief messages from the Rev. Carra McFadden, pastor of Centre Congregational Church in downtown Brattleboro. The service will also include the Sacrament of Baptism for Lowell Fitch.

The Special Offering for December includes The Christmas Fund, for the national United Church of Christ’s Wider Mission, and the Samaritan Fund, for those in need locally or in transition. The Board for Mission and Service is also offering SERRV items for sale to support scholarships for children in El Salvador.

Spiritual Conversations continues at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30, at Hallelujah Farm in Chesterfield, N.H., led by the Rev. Sandy Daly and Rev. McFadden. Wednesday Night Bible Study is held at 7 p.m. at the home of Gisela Robeck, 63 Green Meadows, West Brattleboro. Book Study is also held at 9 a.m. Sundays in the church library.
