BRATTLEBORO -- Epiphany Sunday will be celebrated at the 10 a.m. worship on Sunday, Jan. 5, at Centre Congregational Church in downtown Brattleboro. The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be shared and the Rev. Carra McFadden will preach on "Star Gifts," based on the text from Matthew 2: 1-12. The service is preceded weekly at 9 a.m. by an adult group book study, based on John L. Esposito’s "What Everyone Needs to Know About Islam."
Choir rehearsals are held Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 9:15 a.m., led by Christian Huebner, Director of Music and organist. Michael Mario, Director of Christian Education, has announced that a game night for all ages will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17.
Jon Potter, chair of Church Council, has announced that the annual financial meeting will be held following worship on Jan. 26. The advance documents will be available at church on Sunday, Jan. 19, with discussion provided following worship.
