DUMMERSTON -- Worship at the Dummerston Church begins at 10 a.m. from January through March (note change of time). This Second Sunday in Christmastide is a Communion service and all who seek to follow Jesus are warmly welcome to share in the sacrament of grace.

For the next several weeks, sermons will focus on miracles in the Gospel of John. This Sunday the Meditation is "The Ordinary Transformed," based on John 2:1-11, The Wedding at Cana. The Children’s story is "Miracles Every Day." Children begin in worship and then go to an open classroom, returning to join their families for communion. Music leadership will be provided by Franz Robert, organist.

Food for the Drop-In Center Food Bank and warm outdoor clothing and blankets for the homeless are always needed and may be left in the church entry.

The church is located in Dummerston Center. Because the church is on the top of a mountain, worship and programs are canceled when driving is treacherous. If worship is canceled for the morning, all events for that day are canceled. Check for cancellations on WTSA. 96.7 FM or 1450 AM or WKVT local news, or contact the church to be added to a calling tree. For more information about this energetic, faithful, friendly and mission-oriented church, contact Pastor Susanna Griefen, 802-257-0544, susanna@griefen.com, or go www.dummerstonchurch.org and Facebook page.
