WEST BRATTLEBORO -- All Souls Unitarian Universalist invites all to gather on Sunday, Jan. 5, at 10 a.m. when the topic for the service will be "Creation: In the Beginning."

All Souls’ minister, the Rev. Barbro Hansson, will reflect on the theological theme of "Creation" by exploring ancient stories and myths and the contemporary wisdom of Stephen Covey who said, "... all things are created twice. There’s a mental or first creation, and a physical or second creation to all things."

James Welcome Johnson’s poem "The Creation" will serve as the reading. The service will include a time for all to reflect and share some thoughts. Jeanne Austin serves as Worship Associate. The First Sunday Offering will benefit the Minister’s Discretionary Fund.

This first Sunday of the month is Potluck Hospitality Sunday. Those attending are asked to bring something to share with their Fellow Souls.

Following coffee hour, the Small Group Ministry session will gather to discuss the theme of "Creation," from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.
