BRATTLEBORO -- First Baptist Church recognized Luella Frechette for her many years as organist at a special retirement luncheon. She was presented with gifts as well as many expressions for her years of service.

Music will continue on the historic Estey organ and the piano with the new organist, Lisa Provatas of Guilford.

At the annual meeting of the church on Jan. 26 it was unanimously voted to continue support for Housing the Homeless, Pastoral Counseling, AA groups, Grace’s Kitchen, Sunday morning breakfasts and Feeding the Hungry under the devoted leadership of Pastor Suzanne Andrews.

Worship begins at 10 a.m. with a warm welcome to all who wish to attend. Part of this Sunday’s service will be the celebration of communion.
