WALPOLE, N.H. -- This Sunday’s service at the Walpole Unitarian Church will be the annual "Chocolate Communion," presented by Jessica O’Connor and Dorothy Read. Services continue to be held throughout the month of February at Hastings Memorial Parish House on Union Street.
"Love is the doctrine of this church," Read said. "Every week, we use this phrase as the beginning of our affirmation and covenant. This week, we’ll explore what is sweet in our lives, what we love."
The chocolate communion is a time to pause and reflect on those wonderful things that happen in our lives as we share chocolate passed around in a big red candy box.
Everyone is welcome to stay after the service for coffee and conversation.
