BRATTLEBORO -- The Rev. Carra McFadden will lead 10 a.m. worship Sunday, Feb. 16, at Centre Congregational Church in downtown Brattleboro. Her sermon title for the Sixth Sunday after Epiphany is "The One Another Community: Spur One Another," based on the text from Hebrews 10: 23-25.
The February Special Offering will benefit the Overflow Shelter and Morningside Shelter, both based in downtown Brattleboro. Fellowship Hour follows in the Fireside Parlor and all are welcome.
The Board for Christian Education will host a sing-along Friday, Feb. 21, at 5:30 p.m., Michael Mario, C.E. Director, has announced. Kidz Club meets during worship in the annex.
An adult book group precedes worship at 9 a.m. Sundays, studying Karen Armstrong’s "Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life." Womanspirit meets at 4:30 p.m. Thursdays and choir meets at 7 p.m. under the direction of Christian Huebner, Director of Music.
