BRATTLEBORO -- On the Seventh Sunday after Epiphany, Feb. 23, the Rev. Carra McFadden will lead 10 a.m. worship at Centre Congregational Church in downtown Brattleboro. Her sermon title is "The One Another Community: Love One Another," with her scripture text from 1 John 4: 7-12. Children will sing "This Little Light of Mine" during the Message for All Ages. Fellowship Hour will follow in the Fireside Parlor and all are welcome.
Kidz Club continues the theme "Let Your Light Shine." Kids and teens are excused to their club rooms on the last verse of the first hymn. Michael Mario is the Director of Christian Education.
On the last Monday of February, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Spiritual Conversations will be held at Hallelujah Farm in Chesterfield, N.H., to discuss how and where God is moving in our lives and our response. Leaders are the Rev. McFadden and the Rev. Sandy Daly. Directions are available from the Centre Church office.
Centre Church is hosting the meal at the Overflow Shelter Sunday evening, and donations are welcome. Special Offerings for February benefit the Overflow Shelter and Morningside Shelter, both based in downtown Brattleboro.
