GUILFORD -- The Rev. Elizabeth Fisher will lead the 10 a.m. worship and share communion at Guilford Community Church, United Church of Christ on Sunday, May 4.

Her children’s story and homily will lead the congregation through the stories of Jesus’ appearance after the resurrection at Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35) and at the shore of the Galilee (John 21:1-17). She will challenge the congregation to ponder its call in current times. Those interested in singing in the choir should arrive by 9 a.m. for rehearsal with Patty Meyer, choir director for the day. The Sunday School will continue during the service with lessons focused on the disciples after the Resurrection.
