WEST BRATTLEBORO -- All Souls Unitarian Universalist at the West Village Meeting House invites all to Sunday’s service on May 11 at 10 a.m. All Souls’ Social Action Committee has invited Larry Hames, director of the Brattleboro Community Justice Center, to speak at the committee’s annual Sunday service. Members of the committee will also take part.

The All Souls Choir, under the direction of Tom Baehr, will sing "Vesper Bells Ring" by Antonin Dvorak.

This Sunday in children’s Religious Education Mother’s Peace Day will be celebrated as they learn about abolitionist, poet and peace activist Julia Ward Howe, the founder of Mothers Day. On this Mother’s Day children will celebrate all mothers and all people as the are inspired by Howe’s intention to create a day of peace action. The group will discuss bullying as a way of learning how they can speak out against injustice in their daily lives. Children of all ages are invited to attend this Sunday and every Sunday.
