VERNON -- Cold Brook Stables hosted its third annual Gymkhana event on May 18 and the Horsemanship Clinic on May 24. Their remaining schedule looks like this:

June 14 -- NABA Summer Poker Trail Ride, 10 a.m.; June 22 -- CBS Game Day Series #2, 10 a.m.; June 30 -- Summer Camp Session 1 (ages 5-8), 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; July 5 -- CBS Summer Trail Challenge, 10 a.m.

July 20 -- CBS Game Day Series #3, 10 a.m.: A day of fun and exciting gaming. Compete for Day End and Year End Awards. Many different divisions for all. Lead Line and Youth/Adult Walk Trot classes start at 10 a.m.

July 21 -- Summer Camp Session 2 (ages 9-12), 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: A fun and educational combination of horses, riding, learning and friendship. The camp will include riding at least once daily along with many other activities. Education and personal growth is a huge part of the barn and riding camp.

Aug. 4 -- Summer Camp Session 3 (ages 5-8), 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: A fun and educational combination of horses, riding, learning and friendship. The camp will include riding at least once daily along with many other activities. Education and personal growth is a huge part of the barn and riding camp.

Cold Brook Stables is a family owned/operated business in southeast Vermont. They offer boarding, training, riding lessons, and trail riding on over 80 acres of scenic Vermont farmland. They hold horse shows, game days and clinics in their outdoor arena. Horses enjoy a comfortable stay in their 14-stall barn with great ventilation and matted stalls.
