WEST BRATTLEBORO -- All Souls Unitarian Universalist at the West Village Meeting House invites all to worship on Sunday, Aug. 31, at 10 a.m. for the All Souls’ Annual Water Communion: Puddles, Pools, Ponds, Puns and More.

This Sunday All Souls Unitarian Universalist features its annual Water Communion, where congregants join together water collected from their diverse summer experiences and travels. An opportunity to share briefly the spiritual significance of the experience is part of the service. Symbolic water is available to use for those who do not have a sample. Children and teens are welcome to participate in the communion activities. A special multigenerational song will be learned and Daniel Kasnitz will sing "Cool Waters."

Service leader Andrea McAuslan’s message will reflect both the fun and deep thought necessary for a healthy spiritual life, as she addresses several themes and components related to UU and the All Souls congregation.

All Souls at the West Village Meeting House is designated by the Unitarian Universalist Association as a Certified Welcoming Congregation and a Green Sanctuary, and recognized by the National Wildlife Federation as a Certified Wildlife Habitat. All Souls is located at 29 South St. across the road up from the West Brattleboro fire station and village green. Nursery care is available.
