said Brattleboro coach Claude Gouin, whose team finished up with a 15-8 record. "I thought we did pretty good for what we had."

Tommy Heydinger pitched for Post 5 in their tourney opener and Sawyer Olson got the start versus Lakes Region. Olson had Brattleboro’s lone hit against Addison, while Chris McAuliffe went 3-for-5 in his team’s second game.

Trailing 4-1, Post 5 rallied for four runs in the eighth inning to go ahead of Lakes Region. But a three-run double in the ninth by the opposition would be the difference.
