ARLINGTON -- The Twin Valley varsity boys continue to dominate the soccer field, chalking up another victory over Otter Valley, 6-3, Wednesday night at the John Werner Tournament.
After being absent for some time, Twin Valley’s Colin Lozito returned to the game in style, helping Tony Tarr put away his first goal at the 5:00 mark. Tarr’s stellar performance for the evening would earn him four goals in total. The same combo proved effective as Lozito assisted Tarr again with a cross-kick, for the Wildcats’ second prize. The two proved to be double-trouble all night for their opponents.
"They were picture perfect goals," said Twin Valley coach Buddy Hayford. "The two (Lozito and Tarr) work well together."
The Wildcats scored five of their six goals in the opening half.
Jeff Corbett broke through a shaky Wildcat defense with 17 minutes left on the first-half ticker for the Otters’ first goal.
Tarr fired back at 25:00 for the hat-trick, Lozito there for a third time with the give. Then Lozito got control of a loose ball and went ahead to find the Wildcats’ fourth net. Twin Valley’s Evan Therrien put up a deep shot from about 35 yards out, minutes later, which came to rest in the corner of the box, and OV’s Corbett battled to get around the Wildcat defense for a goal to settle the score at 5-3 before the break.

Lozito would tuck in Twin Valley’s last goal toward the end of the last half to pull away. The Wildcats’ Sam Molner had nine saves as keeper.
The Wildcats’ record soars to 6-0 as they prepare to compete in Arlington at the John Werner Tournament final on Friday to play the winner of Arlington vs. Springfield.
