BENNINGTON -- The Brattleboro field hockey team finished its season with a 2-0 loss to rival MAU on Saturday.

"They scored their goals early in the first half," said BUHS coach Deb Valliere. "We had a couple of opportunities, but MAU had a ton of opportunities. Our goalie and defense held them off."

Jen Dyer made a number of quality saves for the Colonels. Kayla Savage, Daisy Giroux and Kebrina Howard also had solid games.

"I think we ended the season on a positive note," added Valliere, whose team finished up with a 2-12 record.
