SPRINGFIELD -- Leland & Gray baseball coach Eric Durocher said almost everyone was hitting in the Rebels game against the Cosmos.

"We had to move the game, but it didn’t affect us," said Durocher, whose team moves to 1-1 after crushing the Cosmos on Friday night.

Leland & Gray’s pitcher Zach Wilkins threw for six innings, fanning seven batters while giving up two hits. He had two hits and drove in four runs.

The team’s Riley Kenney also had an impressive showing, going 4-for-4 with three RBIs.

In their strongest offensive push, the Rebels scored four runs in both the fourth and sixth innings.

Ryan Borgesson tracked some deep shots and handled them well in center field, according to Durocher.

Leland & Gray will play Windsor on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
