BRATTLEBORO >> The Brattleboro Union High School boys and girls Nordic ski teams, which placed seventh and 11th respectively in last season's state championships, will debut at Mount Top in Rutland on Wednesday, Dec. 16, at 2:30 p.m.

Declan King placed 16th in the Classic and 22nd in the Freestyle to lead the BUHS boys at states last winter. Isabella Thurber paced the Colonel girls by taking 25th in the Freestyle and 42nd in the Classic.

Champlain Valley Union enters this season as the defending boys champion and Mount Mansfield holds the girls state championship belt.

Brattleboro's 2015-16 varsity schedule is listed below:
