BRATTLEBORO >> Twin Valley forward Kyle Murdock earned a record 61 votes to win Reformer Athlete of the Week honors for Jan. 31 to Feb. 6.
He went off for 24 points and 10 rebounds during a 74-44 rout of Leland & Gray, He also scored six points, grabbed 10 boards and swatted two shots in a 55-33 win over Green Mountain.
Murdock is averaging 10.1 points and 9.1 rebounds per game for the 15-5 Wildcats, who were seeded fifth in the Division 3 boys basketball tournament.

The Brattleboro Union High School Nordic skier placed second overall, just 20 ticks behind gold medalist Scott Mooney of Burr and Burton, in the Marble Valley League Freestyle Championship at Brattleboro Outing Club. He led the Colonels to victory in the team results, ahead of Woodstock, BBA and MAU.
