BRATTLEBORO >> Bellows Falls varsity girls basketball player Hannah Kelly earned 87 votes to become the Reformer Athlete of the Week for Feb. 14-20.
The junior forward made the game-winning basket just before the buzzer, assisted by Aly Bashaw, during the Terriers' thrilling 42-40 victory over Woodstock. She finished with 23 points in that contest.
She helped Bellows Falls to a No. 16 seed in the Division 2 Tournament, where the purple and white lost to U-32 in a playdown game. Kelly had a team-high 10 points against the Raiders.

The junior point guard scored a team-best 11 points when the No. 14 Brattleboro Union High School varsity girls basketball team eliminated third-seeded Essex in a Division 1 playdown game. She then went off for 16 points as the Cinderellas knocked out sixth-ranked Saint Johnsbury in a quarterfinal.
The Bellows Falls wrestler earned bronze at the state meet at 106 pounds, behind champion Tyson Sauer of MAU and runnerup Ben Stewart of Essex. He helped the Terriers to a 10th place finish at that event in Clarenden.
Hinsdale's go-to-girl erupted for 13 points in the third quarter and finished with 21 in a 42-29 playdown victory over Newmarket. And "the Spitfire" then led the Pacers with 13 points during their NHIAA Division 4 girls basketball quarterfinal loss to Nute.
