BRATTLEBORO >> Hinsdale varsity softball player Ariana Taylor received 79 votes to earn Reformer Athlete of the Week honors for April 10-16.
Taylor, who is just a sophomore, finished with three hits and four runs batted in to help the Pacers sweep a doubleheader at Pittsfield. In Game 2, her seventh-inning single drove in the tying and winning runs.
She also teamed up with infielders Lauren Southwick, Mariah Nichols, Jen Matuszewski and Jacqueline Atkins for an error-free day.

The Bellows Falls varsity softball slugger racked up five hits and also drove in five runs during a 30-3 rout of Whitchester on Saturday. Two days before that, she led the Terriers with three hits and three RBI's in a loss to Rutland.
The Brattleboro varsity softball team's ace went 2-1 in the circle last week, including victories over Windsor and Otter Valley. The senior struck out 21 batters, walked nine and gave up 13 hits during those three contests combined.
The Bellows Falls baseball team's clean-up hitter delivered a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Terriers came back to beat visiting Brattleboro, 4-3. He would then strike out nine and pitch a three-hitter during a 7-3 loss to Rutland.
The Williamsville resident was the top area finisher in the 120th Boston Marathon. She wound up 2,182nd overall in a time of 3:05:46 despite the 70-degree temps on Patriots Day.
