BRATTLEBORO >> Bellows Falls varsity softball player Lila Guerrina received 89 votes to earn Reformer Athlete of the Week honors for May 15-21.
Guerrina had a couple of hits, including a three-run double, during her team's 14-8 loss to Hartford. The Terriers fell behind by seven runs in that game before rallying back to within 8-7.
"She always works so hard and really deserves this award," noted Jon Skrocki when voting for Guerrina.

The Leland & Gray southpaw pitched a one-hit shutout during her team's 19-0 varsity softball rout of Twin Valley on Senior Day in Townshend. The hard-throwing southpaw struck out 11 and walked just two in the five-inning affair.
The Brattleboro softball team's lead-off hitter went 3 for 3, including a pair of doubles, during a 9-3 victory over Rutland. Two days before that, the talented catcher had two hits in a 4-0 decision over Rutland.
At the Essex Invitational, the Bellows Falls track star won the 110 hurdles in 14.86 seconds. He was also the runner-up in the 300 hurdles and in the triple jump.
The Twin Valley shortstop went 4 for 4 and scored four runs as the Wildcats fell to Poultney, 8-5.
