BRATTLEBORO — Brattleboro Union High School varsity football player Kristopher Carroll received 99 votes to earn Reformer Athlete of the Week honors for Sept. 18-24.
The sophomore had two tackles for loss and a pick six when BUHS beat South Burlington 40-0 on Homecoming Weekend. He also helped the Colonels limit the Rebels to just 80 yards of total offense.
"You deserve this, bro. I wish I could've been there to support you and the boys out on the field," commented Cody Greene when filling out his ballot.
Carroll's prize is two free passes to Brattleboro Bowl for a night of Cosmic Bowling, which is held on Friday and Saturday evenings from 9-11.

The sophomore forward had a hat trick to lead the Brattleboro Union High School varsity boys soccer team to a 5-1 victory over Leland & Gray.
He put away a rebound in overtime to give the Twin Valley varsity boys soccer team a 2-1 win over Otter Valley in the John Werner Tournament title game. Park also tallied in the tourney opener, when the Wildcats knocked off host Arlington 3-1.
In the Leland & Gray varsity boys soccer team's 5-1 decision over Stratton Mountain School, Karg finished with a team-high three goals.
