MONTPELIER (AP) - Four candidates seeking the Republican nomination to square off against incumbent Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin are slated to engage in debate this week.
Scott Milne, Steve Berry, Dan Feliciano and Emily Peyton have been invited by the Essex Republicans to debate at 7:15 Tuesday at the Essex Center Grange Hall on Route 15.
They are vying in the Aug. 26 Vermont primary for a chance to face the two-term Democrat Shumlin in the November election.
The debate is preceded by a spaghetti dinner, which is $10 for adults and $5 for children 5-14.
