8 Gladiators win a state title

WESTMINSTER >> The Gladiators are bringing elite level wrestling back to southern New Hampshire and Vermont. TheGladiators, a youth wrestling club for kids k-8th grade, had a very dominant season this year. They split their practice time between a location in Keene, N.H. and a location in Bellows Falls, and are open to kids from New Hampshire and Vermont.

With a roster of only 33 kids total, the Gladiators placed second in the state with their Grades 7-8 squad, and second in the state and in New England with their Grades 5-6 squad. They placed first at the Derry Season Opener, first at the Rebel New England Classic, and first at the Rundlett Invitational Tournament.

Individually, the wrestlers excelled as well. They had eight state champions, three runners up, six third place finishers, six fourth place finishers, one fifth place finisher and one sixth place finisher in the state. At New Englands, they had a second, a fourth, a fifth, and two seventh place finishers. At the Marshwoods New England Championships, they had two champions, four runners up, a third, and a fifth place finisher.

If anyone is interested in wrestling with the Gladiators, feel free to contact any of the head coaches: Wayne (wrestlingmylife11@gmail.com), Steve (gruber_steve@hotmail.com), or Todd (swishvt@yahoo.com).
