A stinky time to be had in Bennington

BENNINGTON - Can you smell it? That aroma of herbs and garlic in the air in and around Bennington Vermont is coming from the popular Southern Vermont Garlic & Herb Festival. On Aug. 30 and 31, at least 150 vendors, garlic farmers, foods, beer tent, garlic products like pickles, chutney, salsa, pesto, ice cream, sauces and more will be in the field in front of the Shops at Camelot Village on the west end of Bennington on Route 9. We will have activities for the children. There will also be great Live Music from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. The gate opens at 10 a.m. and the vendors close at 5 p.m. We do accept only service pets on the property. The parking is free. Admission is still only $5 for adults and $1 for the under 12 set. Our information and demonstration tent will help you find your way around the festival and to restaurants, theatre, shops and lodgings in town.

This is a fantastic event which is considered one of the Top Ten Garlic Festivals in the World. Come experience the fun!
