Addie Dailey named BFUHS Elks Student for March


WESTMINSTER -- Addie Dailey has been named the March Elks Student of the Month for Bellows Falls Union High School. Adaline, a senior, is the daughter of Denise Brown of Bellows Falls.

As a dedicated student, Addie takes challenging classes and works hard to improve her stills. Currently, as senior, she is taking AP European History, AP English Literature, and Latin IV. She is focused in class, and excited about learning. She takes her academics seriously and always puts forth her best effort on every assignment.

Addie has an incredibly positive, upbeat attitude that is truly infectious around the halls and classes at BFUHS. She has a positive attitude towards education which is evident through how she approaches her work and her classes. She displays a positive, hardworking attitude in her other endeavors at BFUHS as well, including as captain of the girls soccer team and as a prominent member of the band and chorus.

Addie has superb attendance. Not only does she attend school every day, but she positively contributes to BFUHS in numerous ways outside the classroom through sports and the music program.

Willing to serve her community and those around her, last summer, Addie received a scholarship to travel to Botswana through the Experiment in International Living, where she represented BFUHS and Vermont internationally. Addie also was willing to be a guest speaker to one of the World Cultures classes where she shared those experiences.
