All Souls Church Unitarian Universalist to celebrate ‘UnBirthdays’ on Sunday
WEST BRATTLEBORO -- All Souls Church Unitarian Universalist invites all to worship on Sunday, Jan. 27, at 10 a.m. "Unraveling the UnBirthday" will be the day’s focus.
Worship leader Elizabeth Lewis and her team will guide the service confidently and cheerfully through an Untraditional UnBirthday with a meditation on the theme of birth/unbirth. The All Souls Choir, under the direction of Ede Thomas, will sing "Sunrise, Sunset," lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, music by Jerry Bock.
The Unparty will follow in the chapel, where everyone’s birthday will be celebrated. The children play a special role on Sunday morning and will join in a parade during the service and then help decorate for the party. This ASC tradition of the unbirthday gathers congregants with the same birth month together at the same table to enjoy a homemade cake. This event is devoted purely to fellowship and fun.
Nursery care will be provided. Contact Llora Kressmann Acting Director of Religious Education, for more information at email@example.com or 802-245-9377.
