Alyssa DeJesus named June Elks Student of the Month at Bellows Falls Union High School


WESTMINSTER -- Alyssa DeJesus has been named the June Elks Student of the Month for Bellows Falls Union High School. Alyssa, a sophomore, is the daughter of Debra Peltier and Antonio Goncalves of Bellows Falls.

Alyssa’s teachers report that she has been an impressive student in class and is diligent about getting her work done. She is willing to put forth a lot of time and effort into her assignments. Her teachers appreciate her willingness to contribute productively to class discussions and help her classmates when needed. She has stood out due to her positive attitude, active participation in classes, interest in her education, and her good work ethic.

Alyssa has shown a great attitude toward learning about the topics and subjects in her classes. A positive student who never complains about homework or projects, she is a good role model for others. Always prepared for class and ready answer questions or read aloud in class, she is someone her teachers can count on.

As a dedicated student Alyssa comes to school with a desire to learn and a willingness to work hard to improve her skills. Friendly and enthusiastic, Alyssa is a positive role model to other students and generally liked by the staff at BFUHS.
