WILMINGTON -- The Ann Coleman Gallery will be taking up temporary residence at 7 North Main St., while Coleman waits to see if the Town of Wilmington will approve her new "Ark" Gallery design by Linesync Architecture & Stevens Engineering.

Local artist Coleman will open the doors on Saturday on the main floor below Roseate Creations Frame Shop. This will be a collective space showcasing the work of six local, high-profile artists. West Brattleboro will be well represented by atmospheric landscape oil painter Petria Mitchell, fine furniture/woodworker Jason Breen, abstract painter Jim Giddings, with oil stick on paper, and ceramist Matt Tell with his functional clay vessels in colorful earth tones. Also in the lineup will be silversmith Lori Rich of Halifax, with fine art jewlery and pastelist Ann Coleman of Whitingham with her prints and originals of local scenes. Visit

There we be an artists’ opening celebration on Saturday, Feb. 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend.

The gallery is open Monday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 802-379-4305.
