Archer Mayor opens Vermont Voices series

Posted

CHESTER -- Each year in November, Misty Valley Books invites Vermont writers to come to the First Universalist Church in the Stone Village, on Sundays at 2 p.m., to share their work.

As has been the case since the beginning of Vermont Voices 12 years ago, Archer Mayor, Vermont’s favorite mystery writer and raconteur, returns this year on Nov. 3, with his new -- and 24th -- Joe Gunther tale, "Three Can Keep a Secret," which unfolds this time with Tropical Storm Irene as a backdrop.

On Sunday, Nov. 10, photographer and writer Peter Miller presents his most recent book, "A Lifetime of Vermont People."

A book signing and reception will follow. For information call Misty Valley Books at 802-875-3400 or visit www.mvbooks.com.
