Area law enforcement looking for help in several cases
BRATTLEBORO -- The Brattleboro Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at Studio 20 Hair Salon on Technology Drive on Dec. 7.
According to the police someone broke into the building between 2 and 3 a.m.
The police say they are reviewing surveillance video.

SOUTH LONDONDERRY -- Members of the Vermont State Police are investigating a report of vandalism which took place at Brown Enterprises, Inc., in South Londonderry.
Police were alerted to the vandalism of farm tractors on Friday, Dec. 7, just after 10 a.m.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the Rockingham Barracks at 802-875-2112.
PUTNEY -- The Vermont State Police are looking for information about a theft that happened in Putney on Friday.
According to the police, between 7 and 8:15 p.m. on Dec. 7, vandals smashed the driver side window of a car owned by Tiffany Melanson, 24, of Ashuelot, N.H.
The car, a 2006 Chevy Impala, was parked at 57 Putney Landing Road and a pocket book was taken from the vehicle. The police later found the pocketbook with money missing from it.

TOWNSHEND -- The Windham County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an act of motor vehicle vandalism after a car in Townshend was damaged.
The sheriff’s department says that someone left deep gouges in a truck parked at Grace Cottage Hospital on Nov. 27.
The vehicle was damaged between 7 and 8:30 a.m., while parked at the hospital, according to a press release.
