ORNAMENT FUNDRAISER: Windham Antique Center is hosting a fundraiser during the holiday season for the Vermont Children’s Hospital at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington.
Anyone with extra vintage holiday ornaments may donate them or purchase an ornament. All of the proceeds raised by the sale will go to the Vermont Children’s Hospital.
Ornaments may be dropped off or purchased at the Windham Antique Center at 5 The Square, in downtown Bellows Falls, seven days a week, Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. or Sundays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For information: 802-732-8081.
SANTA VISIT: The West River Montessori School is hosting a visit from Santa Claus on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Londonderry Town Hall. Ceilia Kelly, a professional photographer, will be taking personalized photos. There will also be arts and crafts to make while kids visit with Santa.
WINTER GALA: The Winter Gala to benefit the Stratton Foundation will be held at the Stratton Resort Base Lodge on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 7 to 11 p.m. Advance tickets are $100 per person, which includes featured complimentary beverages, a buffet, live entertainment and dancing. Registration is requested. Tickets will be sold at the door for $125 per person.
Items for auction include a mid-mountain private catered party, a full day of activities on the mountain, and a signed ski racing bib donated by Lindsey Vonn.

HOLIDAY BAKE SALE: The Walpole Unitarian Church will hold its annual Holiday Bake Sale on Saturday, Dec. 15, in front of the Post Office from 9 to 11:15 a.m.
Shoppers will find homemade products including: holiday cookies boxed for gift giving; a variety of yeast breads including special holiday breads and cinnamon rolls; preserves, candies, cakes, pies, and other items.
FARMERS’ MARKET: The Walpole Farmers’ Market will hold its special Holiday Market on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Town Hall.
It will feature local ingredients for holiday meals, as well as handmade gifts, decorations and ornaments. Caroling around the piano and a lunch of warm, comforting soup or stew, great breads and special holiday treats will be offered.
The Walpole Farmers’ Market will also hold winter markets in the Walpole Town Hall on each third Saturday, January through April, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
