In Brattleboro...

ENCHANTED HALLOWEEN: Neighborhood Schoolhouse will hold its third annual Enchanted Halloween fundraiser on Sunday, Oct. 14, from 1 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for children and $8 for adults. No family will pay more than $25.

This event includes pumpkin painting, scarecrow-making, face-painting, a labyrinth, Mystical Garden, tarot reading, food and music. It offers fun for all ages.

Enchanted Halloween is a reciprocal fundraiser, where the goal is to give back to the community as Neighborhood Schoolhouse raises money for the school. In that spirit, organizers ask people to purchase tickets to donate to families that could not otherwise afford to attend. With the help of the community, each year, tickets are donated to Morningside Shelter, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Drop In Center, as well as other local organizations.

To give to or sponsor the event, volunteer or purchase tickets, contact the event coordinator at or call the school at 802-257-5544. Tickets are also available at Everyone’s Books and Sprout or from Neighborhood Schoolhouse families. Tickets will also be available at the door.
