Community dinners: Every 3rd Monday of the month, 5 p.m. at The Stone Church/Immanuel Episcopal Church in Bellows Falls. All are Welcome. Technology help: Cal LaFountain, Brooks Memorial Library's Electronic Services Support Specialist, is available for brief, private consultations with half-hour appointments on Mondays, 3-5 p.m. He can help library patrons with basic tasks using computers and mobile devices, such as setting up and using an email account, creating a Facebook account, or downloading e-books or other digital media. The library has computers available, or participants may bring their own tablets, smart phones, or laptops to explore the capabilities of those devices. RSVP Volunteer Center: The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Windham County has a variety of volunteer positions available with area nonprofits, schools, senior centers, hospitals, and food shelves. Volunteers are needed to visit/call home-bound seniors, deliver meals, provide rides, mentor in schools, tax-return help, food support and blood drives. There is always a need and volunteering makes a huge difference in peoples' lives.
