Arraignment for N.H. man in crash; Vermont pair killed

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire man is set to be arraigned on charges that he caused a crash that killed a Vermont couple.

The attorney general's office says 53-year-old Robert Dellinger of Sunapee recklessly killed 24-year-old Amanda Murphy and 29-year-old Jason Timmons of Wilder, Vt. The say he crossed over the center line Saturday on Interstate 89 in Lebanon and crashed head-on into the couple's SUV.

Murphy was eight months pregnant.

Dellinger - who was hospitalized after the crash - will be arraigned in Lebanon District Court at 3 p.m. Wednesday on two counts of reckless manslaughter.

It was not immediately known whether he has a lawyer. A man who answered the phone at Dellinger's home Tuesday declined comment.
