Duo Amphion —Your story deserves to be written!

Write Action is sponsoring a weekend memoir workshop on Saturday and Sunday, April 23 & 24, from 1:00-3:00 at Marlboro Tech Center.

The workshop leader is Ann Anderson Evans. "After years of writing and teaching, I have concluded that everyone has a story," Ann says. "It's easy to talk about life, but difficult to write about it." Ann has been helping people write their stories for over a decade.

On Saturday, there will be two hours of active exercises and discussion about the memoir form. Ann will be available to work with writers during an optional third hour, included in the cost. Attendees should plan on writing a short piece for the next day.

On Sunday, the class will review and revise the writing that they have brought with them. There will be an optional third hour for further honing your piece on Sunday. The cost is $30 for the two sessions.

Ann Anderson Evans' work has been published widely in the literary press. She published her first memoir, DARING TO DATE AGAIN (SheWrites Press) in 2014. Since leaving teaching, Anderson Evans has been giving memoir workshops, and has appeared in bookstores, libraries and on radio, and at the Tucson Festival of Books. Ann's website and blog are
