A's remain perfect

BRATTLEBORO >> Zinabu McNeice and Aaron Petrie each threw complete games in a battle of first and second place teams on Tuesday, with the A's prevailing over the Red Sox 4-3 in a Brattleboro Little League contest.

The A's, behind most of the game, stormed back with hits from McNeice, Karson Elliot and Brandon Weeks. The Red Sox scored early with a trio of triples from Jack Pattison (2) and Petrie (1).

Second baseman Owen Gallagher was the defensive star as he speared several hard hit balls and made a flurry of nifty plays.
